I am still tired. I woke up about 7:45 this morning. Went to Wal-Mart to return my stereo. (see post regarding that story). They had a lot of Christmas decorations at 50% off. There was not may people in the store. Parking was very good. I bought a nativity scene and some string lights. Went to CVS to check their sales only left with butter cookies. Steve's customers use to give so many boxes of cookies every year, but not this year. So the holidays could not leave without me having a butter cookie. I like the ones that look like they were squeezed form a pastry bag. Pulled my old stereo out of the cabinet and put my new one in. I had to move a lot of 45 records around to get this done. Why am I still holding on to these records and they stack of albums I have. I don't even have a record player anymore.
We picked up Daddy around noon and went to Va Center Commons and Macy's and Penney's was crazy. I didn't get anything but Dad bought some shoes and a pair of pants. I did not have the energy to deal with the lines or the jumbled up mess you had to dig thru to find anything.
Came home after we dropped Dad off, checked out the decorations I brought today to make sure they worked. And then I plugged in my IPOD to the stereo, cut on my fake fireplace and then hit the sofa and took me a nap. Unfortunately it was not for very long because I got a phone call. So I am still tired. Went back over Dad's. Walter Mallory was there and then STeve Jr came by. He is a basketball coach for Meadowbrook. They won by 30 or more points. After a few conversations with him, he napped as he usually does. Daynon and I texted back and forth, He finally got his new phone he has been waiting for forever. Between his new phone and the WII game console, he will never leave home playing with toys. I told him I was eating the pecans he baked for Christmas. They were actually good.
We called my Aunt Marion in New York. Talked with her a good little while. She was doing good. After the call we came home.
So girls and boys, that was my day..
Umm, any old 45s and LPs you plan on tossing, toss my way. I've got the old stereo my folks use to have :-)
