Faith of a mustard seed

Today was our mortgage burning and ground breaking services at my church. As I sat there I thought about all the people who moaned and groaned about us building a new church. They complained about the fact that we couldn't afford it. Now today after 4 years and 4 months we have paid for our church. Now we are about to move on to phase II and here we go again. Those without faith are at it again. I remember my Mom said that when the old church was built they thought the church was too big and they did not need a church that size. Well thank God someone had vision. Without vision we stagnant. I don't want to get preachy, but Matthew 17:20 says "if we have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Think about that, if someone came to you with a mustard seed, which is the size of a ball point pen tip and said take this seed and it will buy you all that you need, you would take that seed so fast, but we are slow to believe God can do the same for us. The church doors are now open let us pray....LOL

Ok speaking of church, our Christmas Music production was not well attended but it was blessed.
There was a workshop choir from Petersburg and another choir from a church in Petersburg that performed along with my choir, the Voices of commitment. At the end of the service, our choir director Marcus Lee asked all of the choirs to come back to the choir loft and we sang "Total Praise" together. Without rehearsing together, we sounded really good. It was a nice program.

Jason's Grandmother came to the service and he went home with her.

Today I signed myself, Jason, Steve and Dad up for a Christmas lights tour that will be on Dec.23rd. One of my choir members owned Spirit Tours and they are sponsoring this trip. It is $5.00 and will be leaving from Wal-Mart on Brook Road at 5:30. Let me know if you are interested.

See ya
