Today was the homegoing services for Timmy, but it felt like it was a reunion. It has been a long time since so many Johnson cousins have been in the same room. Unfortunately it is weddings and funerals that bring us together.

When we were young, Grandma's house was the meeting place for all of us to get together. Today it was Timmy. Rev. Walton preached a lovely eulogy for Timmy.

I hugged and kissed so many people today that I will probably have to eat a pound of sugar to get all the sugar I gave away today back.

Fortunately the rain ceased and the sun came out, but the wind took it's place. To me cemetarys always seem to be cold.
P.S. Got my car back today. They installed a new horn because mine was not blowing right. There was some parts replaced in my transmission. The repairs were over $2000.00 but we had to only pay the $100.00 deductible. Thank God for the extended warranty I bought. I thought they weren't going to finish with the car until Monday, so I was sad to have to give back the 2009 rental.
Tomorrow is Saturday. Will try to get some Christmas shopping done.
The funeral was really nice and it was really a testament of Timmie's character by all the people that showed up.
