Tis the season

Tis the season to spend too much, eat too much and not get enough rest. Today was a hectic day for me. Woke up early to beat the folks at Wally World and made groceries. We got out of there before 10:00 am. I hear that it got crazy later on today. Went home and put my perishables away, took Jason to his grandparents home and made a few stops before hitting VA Center Commons...again. Had to take some pants back for Jason. Some how I picked up the wrong size and helped Daynon pick out some clothes for Jason. Wal-Mart had no small jars of coffee on the shelf so I made a stop at Food Lion before heading home. Starting wrapping gifts and then I got a call from my sister-in-law. She needed my help so I ran around the corner to house, helped her and then came back to finish wrapping gifts. As soon as I finished, Jason showed up. Fourty five minutes later, we went to Wal-Mart's parking lot to meet Spirit Tours bus. We all went on a tacky lights bus tour. There were three buses and Steve, Jason, Stevie, Linda, Babysis and Pat went. Jason had a ball with some boys his age on the bus. We sang Christmas carols and answered Christmas trivia. It was close to 9:30 pm before we got back. I came home and made two coconut pies and Jason I decorated a lemon pound cake we made last night. We tinted the batter green and the frosting red. It looks like a AKA sorority cake. The red looks pink. I am having family and friends for breakfast Christmas morning, so I got the jump on preparing for that tonight. I am trying to do as much ahead as possible because we are having Christmas Eve service tomorrow from 7-8 and my choir has to sing and then my cousins and I exchange gifts on Christmas Eve. We will be doing that at Dad's this year. Well I am tired and have a full day ahead of me...so good night.

Will put the Christmas light tour pictures on the slideshow.
