What happened to Cartoon Saturdays.

We have cable and they have oodles of cartoon networks but what if you don't have cable, how do you get your cartoon fix on Saturdays. The networks are all about the news show on Saturday mornings. There is no Bugs Bunny, RoadRunner or Sylvester and Tweety Bird on Saturday mornings. I feel so sorry for the kids who don't have cable or satellite TV. They know nothing about Elmer Fudd, or the Acme Company. And what about Tom and Jerry. Oh my goodness, I can not even think about it anymore. Let's get on to what my day was all about.

I slept in late today. It was 8:30 before I got up. Really did not have any plans for today. Unfortuantely, my nose is stuffy today. I think I get stuffy from being over my Dad's. It feels like somewhere between 90 and the temperature in....well you know where. You definitely have to wear summer fashions to stay his house in the winter. Don't get me started on hot it is there in the summer.

Didn't talk to Steve, Jr. but I did see that Meadowbook beat Colonial Heights 78-65. Yeah! They play Petersburg tonight. Don't know the outcome of that game yet.

Did my Saturday thing, cleaned the house. Then Steve and I went to the bank, Wal-Mart to get something for this stuffy nose and K-mart to return something and then came home. When we got home we watched the movie 21 on DVD. It was a OK movie. I give it 3 out of 5 stars. Kevin Spacey is always good in his movies. It moved a little slow at first but got better later in the movie.

My diet was pretty good today. Did not eat anything I should not have eaten. Ate my cereal and skim milk for breakfast. Brought some tortillo wheat wraps and lettuce the other day so I ate that with a little ham on it. For snacks today I had fat free popcorn with sea salt, I hear that is better than regular salt and a apple. Of course I chewed a stick of my watermelon flavored Fruit Sensations gum. Love that stuff. Maybe Wrigley's will pay me for pushing their product...LOL.

Went over Dad's this evening, as we do just about everyday, and we watched TV and saw Mad Money with Queen Latifah. I had seen it before but Dad hadn't. People will do crazy things for money and the lack of it. They always think they have the perfect plan for their schemes, but they always get caught.

I have to sing at both services tomorrow, so I am going to call it a night pretty soon.
