I finally got to ride one.

Jason's Grandmother brought him over this morning. Steve, Jason, and I went to the Health Expo at the Richmond Convention Center. Jason got to meet Jon Burkett. We came home with a lot of giveaways and goodies they were giving out. Jason and I got to ride a segway as you can see in the video. I have always wanted to ride one. It felt kind of weird at first, but I soon got the hang of it. We also played the balancing game on WII video system they had out there. I beat Jason....Yeah!

We stopped by Dad's on the way home from the Health Expo. It was such a nice day. We sat out on the patio for awhile. Jason and Steve played catch with a ball we got from the Expo. We came home and ate a little something and checked out the movie times for the movie "Push". Jason wanted to see it, so we went to the 5:05 show at VA Center. The movie was not bad. It was not the best movie I have seen nor the worst. I would watch it again on cable. There was a lot of action, so Steve stayed awake (he usually goes to sleep at every movie). Dakota Fanning was in the movie and she did a good job.

Talked to Daynon today, he had been doing yard work. Stevie was catching up on the show Lost when I talked to him. I still waiting for him to call me back.

We stopped in at Dad's after the movies for awhile. He had been to the hospital to see Uncle Windor. He said Uncle Windor was doing good thank the Lord. My brother-in-law Thomas, Jr stopped in while we were there. Didn't stay very long because I have a long day tomorrow. I sing at 8am, 11am and then we have to sing at an ordination service at 4pm. So I am going to get Jason in the tub and then I going to take my shower and get in bed at a decent hour.

Before I go, Daddy called me this morning and told me our cousin Sis died. She lived in DC. She had hemorrhaging of the brain. She always called and checked on everyone frequently and Daddy and Uncle Doc got concerned when they did not hear from her doing the holidays. We tried several attempts to contact her. The phone number Daddy had was no longer hers. Then Uncle Doc remembered the church she went to and I located the phone number on the Internet. Uncle Doc called and the person at the church said she had seen her lately and that she would give her a message to call. She never did. She never responded to the Christmas cards sent to her. Uncle Doc told her about Timmy's passing and she still did not called. So we really started worrying. A family member of hers that lived up there called Uncle Doc and told him she was in the hospital and did not know anyone. She never gained consciousness. So she is at peace now with her mother Elenora who she loved dearly.
