What a beautiful day

Even though it was a little windy, the temperature was not too bad today. I went to the 8am service today. Did not have to sing today. Pastor's sermon was from Matthew 4 verse 19. His sermon's title was "An invitation for transformation". He spoke about when Jesus saw Peter and his brother Andrew fishing, he told them to drop their nets and come with him and be fishers of men. Pastor preached that Jesus gives us invitations everyday to change but decline. He told us that Jesus does not want us to be stuck in the same place and that he wants us to change our lives and follow him. He told us that we need to trust in Jesus when there are good days and bad. I think 2009 has already started out as a year of change. I hope the change is world wide and I hope I will be a part of the change by taking the invitation.

After church, I came home and cooked dinner and finished up majority of my tapes to DVD....yeah. We went to Dad's around six to watch the Super Bowl. He wasn't there because he had gone to visit his brother Windor, so we let ourselves in. We watched the game together and boy what a game that was. I will tell you right now, that I hate football. I only watch the Super Bowl for the commercials and the half time show. But I was definitely into this game. I was rooting for the Steelers. James Harrison was phenomenal. As Daynon said, he is a beast. I forgot the player's name who was #10, he was great also. I love it when a championship game have you on the seat till the end. That is what championship games should be about. I hate it when any type of sports have their championship games and there is a blow out by one team. The two teams in that situation are suppose to be the best of the best. After the game, we came home. I was exhausted from cheering....maybe I can get into the game after all. I need someone to give me the ins and outs of the game. I know what a touchdown and a field goal is and that is it....LOL.

Have blessed week.

P.S Check the construction pictures of our new multipurpose building. I will be adding new pictures everyday.
