What a waste of time

Job Fairs----what a joke. This stuff is new to me. I thought today was going to be a productive day. There were 48 booths at the Times Dispatch building today and only 18 of them were offering jobs. Most of the booths were the Army and other services, Insurance booths trying to sell you health and life insurance. There was a funeral home and a lot of financial groups looking for Executives and sales persons. Most of the people you talked were not accepting resumes' because they wanted you to go online and fill out an application. I thought I would get some face to face time with employers. I got up curled my hair and painted my face for nothing. Oh well, back to the chalkboard. When I got home, I changed clothes and we went to the Post Office, Lowe's, Walmart and the bank. I came home and worked on my Avon order. Caught up on things recorded on DVR and fell to sleep in the process. Fixed dinner and then watched American Idol until my friend Priscilla dropped by. Dad went to visit Uncle Windor earlier today and then went to choir rehearsal this evening, so I didn't see him today. Talked to him several times. He said Uncle Windor was doing well. He told Dad to tell me he enjoyed the homemade ice cream I took to him Sunday. Got a text from Stevie that Meadowbrook won their basketball game tonight...95-71....so they are still in the playoffs. Daynon was at his Dodge ball game when I talked to him earlier.

Going to bed now. Forgot to give you all my Sunday lesson. Will give it to you tomorrow.
