Another beautiful day

Think back to next Sunday, what a difference a week makes. Last Sunday was the beginning of the biggest snow storm we have had in a long time. We have had some crazy weather lately.

Well today is the second Sunday in the month but I did not sing today because we switched with the Male chorus because Sunday is Womens Day and the women will be singing on the third Sunday. Went to Wal-mart and picked up a few things. Called Daynon about a WII game that for ten dollars. He told me to get it for him. While I was there I looked at all the cereals to see which one had the highest fiber content. They say when trying to loss weight you should eat foods high in fiber. I eat cereal everyday, love cereal. I settled on honey nut and clusters Fiber One. It has 14 grams of fiber. It doesn't taste too bad.

I have decided to make Sunday as my day to report my weight updates since that is the beginning of the week. My weight today was 223.8 which is down from the 226.0 last Sunday.

I talked to my friend since childhood, Anncarol. She has been in the Reserves for about 27 years was called to Iraq. Thank God she made it safely home. She got home February 21st. She told she has a year and a half left in the service and then she is going to retire. Thank God she does not have to go back to Iraq. We are going get some of our school mates together and go out and celebrate her return.

Today was Uncle Hike's birthday. He is married to my Dad's sister Shelia. God has blessed him to see 84. We went Golden corral to celebrate. That is his favorite restaurant. The following were there: Daddy, Steve and me. Dad's sisters Margo, Janice , Shelia and Yvonne. Dad's brother Doc, brother-in-laws Allen and Irvin. Uncle Doc's son Anthony and a friend of his. And last but not least Aunt Mary, Uncle Doc's wife and me. There was fourteen of us. We had an enjoyable afternoon. I will post the pictures as soon as my computer cooperates

Steve and I ended the day at Dad's. We watched The Great Debaters. Good movie. We watched Exteme Home Makeover

By the way, thanks for all the prayers for Uncle Windor. He home last Thusday. Now I ask for your prayers for my cousin Freda. She is
currently a patient at Memorial Regional Hospital. Right now she needs all the prayers she can get so please send the prayers up.
