Mondays are just another day

I remember when I use to dread Mondays. Now they mean something different all together to me now. I am starting to get a retiree's routine of life. That is not good because I need to go back to work. Today I started my day with exercising at St Peters. The exercising has definitely made a difference. After working over at Stevie's Saturday I never once got stiff or sore.

After I left the class I went to Sears to get my tires rotated. They said it would take an hour. The stores at VA Center was not topen, so I walked the mall. There was a lot of seniors out there. That is their social network. After the stores opened I went in and checked out the sales. Did not buy anything. Sears had a good sale for men. Steve wanted to go check it out

When I left the mall, Marci called about me picking Jason up. It was a suprise to me. Evidently Jason thought he had choir rehearsal tonight but he did not. So since he was not riding the bus home I had to go pick him up. Steve and I picked him up at two and then Steve wanted to go to Sears to check out the sale I told him about. Jason was hungry so we took him to the new Sonics restaurant near Va Center. That was my first time at a Sonics. It reminded me of the car hop service we use to have at Shoneys and Bill's Barbecue years ago. They even serve you on skates. We got the food fast too. After we ate we went to Sears. They had 30.00 shirts for 5.99. I bought two for Daddy to see. We stopped at his house to give him the shirts. He liked them. We went to Wal-Mart and I bought some ground beef to cook burgers on the grill. When we got home Jason took a nap. This is good grilling weather. It was not too hot and not too cold to stand over a grill. I woke Jason up to eat and then got him to do his homework after dinner. Steve left his glasses at Sears, so he went to pick them up while Jason did his homework. When've finished his homework we went to Dad's to take him a hamburger I cooked on the grill. We stayed over there and watched tv until 8:30 or so. Had to get Jason home in time to take his bath to watch Heroes.

Called Stevie while Jason was in the shoer because I saw he was on my ID. He said he was eating and he would call me back. I am still waiting. Daynon is still in Philly. He sent me a text that he was at a Philadelphia Bandstand party and Chubby Checker was performing.
