I know a lot of Guiding Light fans are disappointed. Come September, the are taking the soap opera that has been around for 72 years off the air. It started on the radio. When I was young, I remember when the soaps came on for only fifteen minutes. I am not a fan of the show, but it is sad to see a TV landmark leave the air. They are talking about maybe keeping the show going on a cable channel or maybe the internet. We will see. To all you Guiding Light fans, sorry.
Today started with a call from Babysis. Freda took sick and had to be taken to the hospital by rescue squad. Babyis said Freda was real uncomfortable when she got to the rehab unit so she told them to call the rescue squad. They took her to St.Mary's hospital yesterday afternoon. Her electrolyes and potatssium was out of whack. They got her system back on track and discharged her today. Please keep her in your prayers, she has so many things against her health wise.
Today is the first Sunday in the month and Jason's choir sings on the first Sunday. Jason was moving a little slow this morning but he wanted to go to church to sing. His choir only sings at the eleven o'clock service. I love going to the 8AM service but for Jason, I go at eleven on first Sundays. Well we got to church and Jason went back to the choir room. Daddy suprised me and came to church instead of going to his church, Bethany and Jason's Grandmother, Marci, came to church also. Well Jason wasn't looking too good so we called him over before church started. He said his head was hurting so I told him that he did not have to sing if he felt bad. For Jason not to sing, he really didn't feel good. We asked him did he want to leave and go home but he wanted to stay for church. It was Senior's Day so Rev. Anna Franklin who is the head of the Nifty After Fifty group preached today. She had a good message but was just a little long winded. Pastor also christened three babies today.
Jason and I left to go home. Daddy said he was going to an evening program at Bethany so he hurried out of church. When I got home, I started on my dinner. Jason went in his room and watched TV after he ate a snack. He fell asleep in church and he felt better when we got home. I think the allergy medicine I gave just had him groggy earlier.
After dinner, I took a nap. I was not 100% myself today. When I got in the bed last night, the room was spinning. I got up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and my balance was off. I felt like I was walking in a fun house because I leaned forward when I walked. It was the craziest feeling but it went away before I went to church.
Daddy called and said he was back down the road, so we went over to visit him. We watched America's Funniest Videos and the Extreme Home Makeover. We were about to leave and Daddy told me to take some of the candied yams home he cooked today. I went in the cabinet to get a pie tin and felt just as dizzy as I did earlier this morning. I laid down when we got home.
I watched The Apprentice while laying down. Clint Black is whiny and really plucks my nerves. Herchel Walker is COUNTRY!!! I think T Boz got a raw deal and so did Chloe. Both of them were not fired because of their work ethics or performance but because of Donald's personal opinion. It's his show so I guess he does what he wants to do.
Jason is coughing but not too bad and I am a litte dizzy. Only God knows if we will make exercise class today. We will see. I must think positive, tomorrow I will be better and Jason will be better also.
