I am late with yesterday's events, so here goes:

Yesterday was another beautiful day. Got up early and straighten up around the house, checked my email and then went outside when Steve came home. I had to sand the dresser I have been working on and then I painted the drawers. I put several coats on the drawers but the primer kept coming thru. I gave up after about four coats and then primed the dresser. Well let the paint dry a day or two and come back to paint the drawers again. By the time I put everything away and then took a shower it was about three. When we walked out the front door, Daddy pulled up. He came by to check out my work on the dresser. Since everything was put away, he said he would check it another day. We left and went to the bank and we told Dad we would ride by to see him. He was going to church meeting at his church so we sat on the patio and shot the breeze with him until about four.

Called my ex-coworker, Thelma Reid to tell her the news of me becoming a Grandmother.
She told me her new wedding date is now Oct.17th. She also told me she is working as a temp every once and awhile at our old company when they need her.

Steve and I then road out to RIR to see if any the Nascar drivers were out there practicing, they weren't. There was people out there setting their merchandise trailers up. A lot of tail gaters already out there and at the Flea Market parking lot on Azalea Ave. We went to Henrico County Courthouse to pay our water bill. We both were hungry by then, so we went to Hawkes to get Laketrout sandwiches. We ate it there. Steve had to get some oil for his truck so we stopped at Wal-Mart and then came home. We watched TV and napped until American Idol came on. Jamie Foxx was the mentor tonight. He was funny. Everyone did a good job last night. They have phenominal singers left on there now. Only one girl left. She has her work cut out for her. We then watched Dancing with the stars and once again, the little Rodeo guy is still there. He is sweet but a little stiff for me. Lil' Kim still doing her thing. The girl is crazy. And Gilles, all I can say is sexy, sexy, sexy. I watched the Biggest Loser on DVR. I was sad to see Philipe go, but he will do good at home. Ron is a snake in the grass. I had a mess on the desk in the back bedroom so, I cleaned that up and went thru mail. Went to bed at 12:30
