After all that rest..

I went to bed early last night but woke up around 3AM and again when Steve's alarm went off around 4AM. Went back to sleep and woke around 6:45 and turned the TV on to watch the news. And guess what? I fell back to sleep. I woke up when Steve called me around 7:40. I jumped up to make my bed and I got to exercise class late. Don't know why I was so tired today. Could be the allergies. After class, Dee followed me to Wal-Mart and we walked around the store and then I picked up a few things and she went home and so did I. I put the groceries away and I sat down to watch TV and fell asleep again. When I woke up The Price is Right was almost over. Daynon called me and we called Stevie to see how his first day at school was.

We went to the PO&B and then the DMV. Boy we should have taken lunch. I could have done it online but my husband didn't want to do the temporary registration online until they send the new one. He didn't want to get stopped by a cop even though his papers were in order, so that is why we were there for an hour and fifteen minutes. Daynon called and told me he had a flat tire and then he went to put the spare on and that was flat, so he had to be towed in to get some new tires. Sometimes your day doesn't go like you plan it...that is life.

We left there around 2:20 and we went by Dad's. He was trimming the shrubbery. I raked up the clippings and weeded around the shrubbery and then he said he was calling it a day. I watered his flowers in the pots and Steve watered the other plants. We then sat out on the patio and talked. Daddy showed me his tomato plants he planted in his back yard.

We left Dad's about 3:35 or so. We went to Little Caesar's and picked up our Wednesday pizza. And guess what, after I ate, I feel asleep again. I don't know what is up with me today. We left home about 5:45 to pick Daddy up and take him to pick his car up. Mr. Rigby is one talking man. He showed us his roses and water fountain he had installed in his yard. He has been on ten cruises and says he loves it. He has been everywhere including Alaska and Hawaii on a cruise. It was after 7 when we left his house. He lives in Hanover near the Hanover Air Park. He lives in a old but nice neighborhood.

We stopped at Uncle Doc's because I had jugs of water with Miracle Grow that I wanted to put on my corn. Still could not see anything growing in the watermelon hills. We need a good rain. Uncle Doc was cutting grass so Daddy didn't stay long. Steve and I watered the corn and worked on some weeds I saw. Aunt Mary had a tooth pulled, so I didn't see her today. She was napping. Uncle Doc showed me how something had eaten some of his string bean plants. We didn't stay long because we didn't want to hold Uncle Doc up from his work. We went to Dad's and sat out on the patio until 9 and then came home.

Gonna do some job hunting and go to be early. Hey next time I check the garden out, I will take some pictures so you can see my corn grow.
