How hot was it?

It was so hot, I stayed inside. I went out to exercise class and my sister-in-law Pat and I were talking in the parking lot at St. Peter's and I felt like I was going to melt. We talked briefly and I left and came home. Went out and turned the sprinkler on the flowers out front and went back in. Went out to the tool shed and was going to work on some of the pieces I had not finished refinishing, but decided to straighten the stuff in the kitchen cabinets under the range. It was a lot cooler inside. Watched TV and napped off and on. Steve came home and he hit the recliner and slept. He didn't nap, that man took a fiesta. He woke up around one and we went to the Post Office. Seven days in a row now and the cupboard was bare. The economy is getting everyone. His customers have always been prompt with their payments but they are getting slower and slower to pay their bills. Which means we can't pay our bills until they pay theirs. What a vicious circle we live in. Anyway, God always provides. We went and got gas and to the bank. Stopped at Dad's to pick up Steve's sun glasses. Dad went to the funeral of a young seventeen year old boy at his church. We came home and watched the Young and the Restless on tape and then Steve watched the rest of the soaps on tape. I decided to pull out my clarinet today. Mt. Olive is trying to get a orchestra together for a Christmas production so I pulled it out to see if I can still remember the notes. Some came back to me but I need to practice more. I actually need to take the clarinet to a repair shop and get some of the pads and cork replaced. I am going to check on some shops before I go back to work. Talked to Daynon and Stevie briefly today. Stevie finished training and has started at his store in Chesterfield. Sitting in the house gets boring, I like being outside but because of the heat, we just chilled. Watched court TV and napped until 6:30. Went to Arby's to eat. Had two coupons for free Roast Beef sandwiches. When you visit Arby's, the receipt has a phone number on the back to do a survey within two days. When you make the call, after the survey, you get a code and write that on the ticket. You give them the receipt when you go back, they give you the food and another receipt. Can you say " free roast beef sandwiches for life".....LOL. We left Arby's and went to Dad's. Juiny Boy had left a card there from Babysis. It was a congratulations card and had a Visa gift card in it. Boy was I surprised. She is in New York. Itried to call her on her cell but didn't get her to thank her. Meant to call Aunt Marion's house number but we got to watching Who Wants To be a Millionaire and I forgot. Will definitely call her tomorrow. I may not have to have that Telethon I was going to have to raise money for work clothes....LOL. We came home after Millionaire and I had the TV on but wasn't really watching it. Was in to a game called Cube Free on my IPOD. Took a shower and came in to update you guys. Now I am going to bed. Good night.
