SATURDAY-August 15th

OK, I didn't do my blog last night, so here is a recap of yesterday. Got up around eight or so. Steve and I watched a show on butterflies and yard care. Decided we were going to check out some yard sales, so I made the bed and got dressed and out the door we went. We first went to the Post Office. For the sixth day in a row, there was nothing there. Not good. We then rode around to several yards sale and a Estate Sale. Got a plastic cake pan for one dollar for Daddy at the Estate Sale. Went to a yard sale on Greenwood Road. Bought a real nice high chair for my soon to arrive granddaughter. Only cost me ten dollars. It was a little dirty but in good shape. Went to a yard sale on Francis Road. The lady that lived there bought a bicycle built for two from my Dad for twenty dollars. She sold it for fifty....oh well...LOL. Bought a brand new four position shower head for a dollar. Went by Dad's and took him his cake pan. I washed it up while I was there. We didn't stay long because Dad was going to the funeral of Yusef Tinsley. He is the son of Wortham Tinsley who lives in my Dad's neighborhood. We went home and Steve trimmed up a bush in the front yard and I cleaned the high chair. It had a padded cover that I took off and put in the washer. The seat part was vinyl, so I sprayed the whole chair down with all purpose cleaner, wiped it down, then rinsed it. I then sprayed the whole chair down with Clorox spray, scrubbed it again and rinsed it and then wiped it down and left it in the sun to dry. If the people had taken the time to clean the chair, they could have gotten more than ten for it. It is in great shape. I rewashed the padded cover again in the washer, dried it and put it back on the chair. Just waiting now for a occupant to fill it...LOL. Steve and I sat on the patio talking and I fell asleep. The breeze was nice. Came in the house and straightened up a little and then Steve and I, watched Tiger playing golf until five. Showered, got dressed and went to Dad's. Talked to Stevie, he was doing yard work today. Sat on the patio talking and watching the cars go by until nine. Came home and watched the movie, "Knowing". It was OK. I like Nicholas Cage. Went to bed after the movie.
