Between jobs

Well for all of you that don't know, I was laid off my job of eight years at Dometic Corporation on Oct.10th. Boy what a shock that was. You hear about these things happening to others on the news, but you never think it will happen to you. Well after I cried that first day, I realized that what God has for me, it is for me. My daughter-in-law Lynette, told me about the website at her job and some of my friends at the hospital I use to work at told me about a job there. I got interviews for both and was offered both jobs. I took the one at HCA-Henrico Doctors on Parham Road. Well the told me I would probably start on Nov. 17th when the next Orientation was scheduled, but that did not happen. Then I was told the next orientation was Dec.15 but that was cancelled, so now my start date is Jan 5th, hopefully. I have already filled out all my paper work, took all my shots, blood work xrays and had my photo ID made. I am ready to go to work, but I am glad I get the holidays off to spend with Jason. Will keep you posted on my first day at work.
