Yesterday was a blessed day, but I was too tired to update the blog last night. Christmas Eve night I could not sleep. I think I woke up every hour on the hour. I finally got up at 6 am to start cooking my annual Christmas breakfast. I cooked sausage, bacon, hash browns, fried apples, biscuit, pancake and eggs. We ended up with 19 for breakfast. I think that is a record not sure. After everyone eat and we opened presents and I cleaned up, I was exhausted. The kids and Steve and I exchange names for the last two years so my gift was from Linda or Steve, not sure there was a mix up with the name. I got a new hot curler set. My old one was jacked up. I got a new stereo from my hubby. But there is a story that goes with that gift. See the story regarding that below. After everyone left, I cleaned up around here and then it was time to start getting ready to go to dinner at Lynette's Mom's house. We enjoyed the fellowship and dinner with her Mom, Dad and cousin and then we went to Dad's where we hit the chairs and went to sleep.
I was exhausted. I hope everyone enjoyed the breakfast because it is a lot of work. My house still smells like pork...LOL.
