Gone but will never be forgotten
On Friday, there will be homegoing services for my first cousin, Timothy Johnson. It doesn't seem real. It seems only yesterday when I would give them rides in the Hyman Brother cars that Twine would bring out to Glen Allen and he and Anthony always wanted me to not let the car beside me at the red light beat me. Lord knows I should have plenty of speeding tickets fooling with them. I remember when there was a James Brown song called the "Camel Walk". We would always get Timmy to do it because we thought he was so good at it. I remember when he tried to give himself a "hickie" with his Mom's vaccum cleaner. Timmy was a clown, he made you laugh. He grew up to be a good man, a wonderful husband and a great father. His quiet demanor and laugh will be missed. Fifty two years seem like a long time, but not long enough when you lose someone you love. Timmy you will be missed by a lot of people. Love ya!
