Sunshine Blue Skies, please don't go away

Today was beautiful!!! It felt like a beautiful day in May. I don't want to go back to those 18 degree days, unless we get some snow, then I can enjoy that weather.

Today was 2nd Sunday, so I had to sing @ 8am and 11am. Both services went very quickly. Jason went with me to the 11am service. I saw Daynon's friend Al Campbell and his wife Tonya and little AC at church today. AC has grown so and is so cute.

Was suppose to sing at the 4pm service but side tracked when Stevie and Linda came by. The weather was so nice, we all, Jason, Steve, Stevie, Linda, and I, sat outside. I enjoyed sitting talking with them and enjoying the weather and couldn't pull myself away. Stevie works retail so he works a lot of weekends, so it was nice to see them. Of course, of all Sunday's I did not cook because I had gift card my friend Betty gave me for Christmas we were going to use it today for dinner.

Talked to Daynon today, he and Lynette have been working on the yard this week. It was a nice weekend to do yard work, but I won't feeling that today. Just wanted to bask in the sunshine.

We went to dinner and then took Jason home. Went over to Daddy's and watched the Grammy Awards. Scoured the newspaper for jobs and that was very skimpy. That was my day.

Today's Sermon @ Mt. Olive Baptist.
"Moving from Provision to Application" Romans 12: 9-21
Pastor's theme for the month is family. He talked about the importance of family and how we should apply our love for those in our family before we can truly love others. He told us that God provides us with all the tools to live in harmony with each other. The Bible says we should avoid evil, be kind and affection to one another, fervent in spirit, rejoice in hope, patient in tribulation, bless them that curse you, rejoice with them that rejoice, weep with those that weep, be of the same mind, live peaceably with all men, not seek vengeance, feed your enemy when he is hungry, give him drink when he is thirst, and overcome evil with good. If we can not love one another, then how can we love God. If we use all the information God has provided and apply to everyday life, oh what a wonderful world it would be.
