It's Thursday.

I knew it was something I forgot to tell you guys the other day. Mrs. Lucille Haskins, who was my teacher at Virginia Randolph Elementary School was at Anncarol's party. It was so good to see her. She is doing well and still getting around. She was one of my favorite teacher. If I am not mistaken, I think she was my first grade teacher and she use to teach first and second but they brought in another teacher to teach the second grade and I cried because I wanted Mrs. Haskins.

There were some teachers that I cried when I found out they were going to be my teacher...LOL.

Let' s move on. I had to take Jason to school this morning. And let me tell you something, I did not want to get out of the bed this morning. For some reason, I was tired this morning. I took him to school and had to stop at 7-11 because he did not have a snack for school. After I dropped him off, I went to the mortgage company to slip our payment under the door and then came home. Made some homemade ice cream when I got home. Daddy and Steve always like surprise desserts. I made butter pecan and fudgesicle ice cream. Never made either before, so I hope they taste good. Tried out my new three dollar ice cream maker I bought last Saturday at the yard sale. It worked fine. Went thru my emails and looked at job listings. I then finished looking at the Sunday paper.

Steve was ready to go on our daily outing, the post office. We past Dad's but he wasn't home. We went to the bank and then went to the race track to see if anything was going on out there. There was a bunch of RV's parked everywhere along Richmond Henrico Turnpike at the Flea Market and in people's front yards. I wished I lived out there because I would make a killing renting out my yard. Nothing was going on at the track but merchandise tents were everywhere. We left the track and I had to stop at Partner's Financial to pay my car note.

We rode to Little Five Azalea Farm on Brook Road to price trees. Stevie called while we were about to get out of the are. He was at work. We need a tree for the front yard. I looked at some at Wal-Mart. The prices ranged from $17.00-$22.00. Steve figured we could get one cheaper at the Azalea Farm......WRONG. The cheapest tree was $52.00 and there was one there for $100.00. If I bought a $100.00 tree, that bad boy better live forever. Needless to say, we did not get a tree.

We rode by Dad's . He had been to the hospital to see Aunt Beulah. He said she was doing well and everything went well with her surgery. Praise God! He was about to leave to get his check up at the Dr's, so we only stayed a few minutes.

There was a Race Week Celebration on Mountain Road at Crump Park, well I thought it was at Meadow Farm Park, and Dale Earnhardt, Jr's car was going to be there. Well we rode thru the park and there was no one there. But we found out while riding thru the park, there is another park in there. RF&P Park is in Meadow Farm park. It is a big complex back there. We use to see it from 295 but never knew how you get back there. They have 3 train cars back there and about three or four baseball fields and picnic shelters. They even have a little league baseball stadium called Glen Allen stadium. Never knew all that was back there.

Anyway, we left the park and I thought, maybe the car was at Crump Nursing home and it was. They were out there selling fried fish, hamburgers and hot dogs and had Dale's car there. They gave out his picture and window stickers. They started up his car and one of the little men that was standing by the car almost wet his pants....LOL.

After we left the park, we came home. I worked around the azalea bush at the mail box and scratched up the mulch in front of the house. Marcia called from Germany while I was outside. We talked about forty minutes. While I was talking to her, I got the water hose out and washed the dirt on the side walk, the bird poop on my mail box and the pollen off the car and the front of my house. Sick of that yellow stuff now. Came in the house and went thru my coupons and discarded the out of date ones.

After dinner, we went over to Dad's. Took my ice cream over. Dad said he liked both of them but he loved the butter pecan. I left him samples of both there. We watched My Name is Earl, Dad loves that show. Then I showed him clips of the pageant on the DVD I copied of Crystal BAiley, Viola Coleman's granddaughter and Brenda Allen Bailey's daughter, who is the reigning Miss Black Virginia for 2009.

We left after he saw her crowning on the video and came home. I watched Survivor. I hate it that Coach won the immunity idol. He is a big liar and tells everyone he is so truthful. I believe he thinks in his own mind he is telling the truth. But video does not lie, unless it has been altered.
Caught up on a few other shows and then went to bed.

Buenos Noche (good night)
