It was sooooooo hot today that it actually was cooler inside Daddy's and the air conditioning is rarely ever on. Man it was warm when I left out before eight to go to exercise class. I woke up early today and was ready to exercise today. Especially since I ate too much yesterday. You see, during the week I don't partake of any sweets or snack foods and sodas. And Sundays are my free day. Well, I think I went over board so I needed to work it off today. The scales definitely add up quicker than they subtract. I need to get back to doing my weight updates. Now that Stevie has loaned me his lap top, I can get back to uploading and downloading stuff I could no longer do with my ancient computer. By the way, if anyone is interested, my starting weight was 231 and Saturday I was down to 217. My goal is to be under 200 before my granddaughter gets here.
After class, I came home and faxed my resume to a couple of companies and checked out several websites. The computer makes me sleepy so I went in the den to watch The Price Is Right and I fell to sleep during most of it. Steve and I left home about one and went to the Post Office. The cupboard was bare so there was no bank run. We went to Dads and watched The Young and the Restless. Ashley is crazy...and then watched the Beverly Hillbillies and some of Gunsmoke. Dad had to go see his Primary MD so he can get his medicines refilled. So we left about two twenty and came home. Steve watched TV and I got on the sewing machine trying to repair one of our lawn chairs seat that had come apart. Had to end up doing it by hand. Came in the den and watched the rest of The Young and the Restless we missed and fell asleep. Got up and fixed dinner and then we went to Dads. He had gone to visit Uncle Windor and wasn't back, so we went up Uncle Doc's to water our watermelon patch. He and Aunt Mary weren't there so we watered the patch and went back to Dads. He was back by then. He did not have the A/C on but it had been on so we did not perish when we went in. We watched Who wants To Be A Millionaire and some of Dating in the Dark. I think Daddy was a little intrigued by that show...LOL. Came home and watched the rest of Dating in the Dark. Steve watched the show Castle. It was a repeat and I had seen it so I worked on some things offline on my desktop. And now I am doing my blog. Keep my cousin Freda in your prayers. She is having some problems with her hand and is having a procedure tomorrow morning. Prayer changes things and she needs all the prayers she can get.
