Got a call from Daynon this morning forewarning about the news circulating at VCU where he works. The Chief of Police at VCU was arrested for soliciting a minor on the Internet. What is wrong with these people today. They need Jesus. I can not understand this at all. First of all, didn't he even think that who he was chatting with could be the authorities. If you can't trust the police, other than God, who can you trust. Of course, that was breaking news on Channel 6. This town loves a hot juicy story they can run in the ground.
Went to Henrico Dr's on Parham and had lunch with my friend Betty today. We had not exchanged Christmas gifts, so we did that today. We caught up on what is going on with each other. She told me her oldest daughter Lorna is graduating tomorrow. She has been in training to be a EMT in Washington,DC. Lorna is so excited. She went thru a lot of training to graduate. I also went and talked to the HR Director there. She informed me about some new positions that were available and that she would forward my resume' to the managers. I hope I don't get jilted again. I should have done like Stevie told me to do long time ago and just show up on the job and report to work...LOL.
Came home and sorted my CD's and imported some of the music to my ITUNES library so that I can download it on my IPOD. Caught up on "The Young and the Restless" on DVR.
Then Steve and I went to Max & Erma's for dinner. There was a coupon in the Sunday paper. If you buy a hamburger and fries, you get an item of the same value or less. We got the "Garbage burger". It was real good. It comes with bacon, American cheese, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, Swiss cheese, mushrooms, sauteed onions and marinara sauce. (I am going to have to work that cheese off tomorrow)I just got the cheese and bacon on mine. Steve got the cheese, bacon, mushrooms and onions. Very cheesy. Very good. It costs $9.99 and they give you right many fries which I ate only half of. They also make fresh cookies to order. Sounded tempting but we passed on them. When I have met my goal weight, maybe I will go back and try the cookies then. Steve got their watermelon lemonade to drink. I sipped a little bit and it was a different take on lemonade. It was really good and not sweet like I thought it would be. They coat the rim of the glass with sugar. Here is their website if you want to check them out.

Stopped in at Wal-Mart. Ran into my Mom's old friend Katrinia Missouri. It was nice to see her. She was saying how sorry she was to hear about Timmy passing. I never knew this but she said Timmy refinished a lot of furniture for her over the years and was saying how sweet he was. I didn't even know she knew Timmy.
Did get a text message from Stevie today responding to the one I sent him and Daynon about the circus. I am thinking about taking Jason to the circus and I asked them if they wanted to go. Got no definite answers from neither one of them. Haven't said anything to Jason yet until I firm these plans up.
We left Wal-Mart and then I dropped Steve at Dad's so they could play dominoes while I was at choir rehearsal. Rehearsal lasted until almost 9 tonight. Went back to Dad's and he and Steve played dominoes until 9:30.
Daynon had a Dodge ball game tonight or either kick ball, I can't remember. Anyway, they lost. He said they are 2 and 1.
Came home and worked on transferring some more of my VHS tapes to DVD. Somethings I recorded I forgot I even recorded them. There are so many weddings, cookouts and birthdays I have recorded. It is funny to look back and see those who were skinny way back then that are not now. And some who were not so skinny then but are now. Those that had jet black hair then but no longer have it now. Especially people you be around all the time, you don't see the changes in them until you look back. I am glad most of the movies taken were taken by me...that way I am not in there to see my changes. I want to believe I still look the same.....36-24-36.....LOL.
On that note, I am gone.
