People always think of miracles they think of Jesus turning water to wine and raising Lazarus from the dead, but to me a miracle happened in New York City today. God landed that plane. The Captain did all that he was trained to do, but God did the rest. When the news reporter announced that everyone survived I said thank you Jesus. All I could think of was the time that plane crashed in DC and all those people were in that frigid water. It only takes a matter of minutes before hypothermia sets in. The fact that it landed near where the ferry boats dock just tell you that is was only God. Compared to what happened to those people today, my day was just any ordinary day.
I went to help my sister-n-law put a shelf together today. They never make assemblies easy, but we got it together. Went to Home Depot today to look for a lock for our storm door. I guess one good turn deserves another. Pat wanted fix lunch for us b/c we helped her and then when we got to Home Depot the sales clerk in the store told us he had some extra parts and gave us a lock. As Jerry Seinfeld always says "it evens out".
Talked to Jason today and he told me he got a B+ on the science test I helped him study for on Tuesday night...yeah Jason. Talked to Steve, Jr today and he is getting ready for his trip to DC for the Inauguration. He leaves tomorrow. Daynon called early this morning. He wants to strong arm the people at HCA because they have not hired me yet.
Had choir rehearsal tonight. We learned a lot of new songs. Rev. Lee is trying to introduce a lot of different music styles to us. Stopped at Dad's because I dropped Steve there before I went to church. Dad, Steve and Babysis were playing dominoes. They love those bones. They stopped at 9:45 and then we came home.
I told you I would call them and get them straight.
