Happy New year...God has let me see another year and I don't take that for granted.
I think I am in post holiday depression. You get all hyped up about the holidays and then after Christmas day, New year's eve is the highlight of the rest of the season. I haven't even been keeping up the blog.
Let's see if I remember what I have been up to. Tuesday was a lazy day. Jason's Grandma picked him up. Steve, Daddy and I went to visit Stevie and Linda to check out their Christmas tree since we had not been there during the Christmas holidays.. We took snacks over that I was trying to get out of the house before the first of the year and watched TV until 9 and them came home.
Yesterday, Jason came back. We took his video game back to get credit because he found out that his PSP was not working. Talked to the people at Sony and they wanted to charge a flat rate of $93.00 to fix it. Don't know what a new one costs.
We went to the movies yesterday. We saw Jim Carey's movie "The Yes Man". It was very funny. I love Jim Carey. I thought he was funny since I first saw him in a movie many people don't remember called "First Bite". It was a comedic vampire movie.
Stopped in to see Dad, but he was on the way out. Stayed for a few minutes. We picked him up later that evening to go to the watch night service at my church, Mt. Olive Baptist in Glen Allen. My choir sang. I love the way Pastor preaches little snipets of his service and then sits down and then we sing a song that relates to his text. He has been doing this the last three years. I think everyone likes it. Jason, Steve and I met Babysis and Juiny Boy at IHOP after church. Saw the Johnsons, Tyrone, Mary and their girls and husband, boy friend. Also, saw Joe Giles and his wife and girls. Was definitely tired by the time we got home around 2am.
Jason went back to his Grandparents today. His aunt and cousin are here from NC.
Today was a lazy day. Still tired from last night. Went to visit Dad. Steve, Jr and Linda came by.
The End.....or should I say the beginning (of a new year that is)
