Rainy days and Mondays always bring me down...

Who sung that song? I think it was the Carpenters...? Anyway, another rainy day. I mean it has rained all day long. I can breath today better thru my nose, but Steve is still suffering. He says it is better, but we both are honking our noses. I hope I am not suffering tomorrow because I have to sing at the 8 and 11am services tomorrow.

I woke up at 6:30 this morning and by 7 I decided to get up because I was not going back to sleep. Went in and got my trusty bowl of Fiber One cereal. For those of you that don't know, I love cereal. I could actually eat a bowl of cereal three times a day. The crunchier the better. I don't like soggy cereal. The Fiber One with honey clusters flakes can get sort of soggy but the honey clusters make up for that. Anyway, got into this crazy movie called The Cradle. I missed the very beginning of the movie but I was real confused by the end. If anyone has seen this movie, please explain it to me. I started straightening up after that movie and made my bed and cleaned the bathroom and kitchen and dusted. Then I got caught up in the movie Steve was watching "First Sunday" with Tracey Morgan and Ice Cube. Crazy movie..made me laugh. Kat Williams was in there acting ignorant as usually.

Took my shower and went to Wal-Mart to get some snacks and fruit to take to Freda at the rehab unit. Steve dropped me off and Daddy's because Steve's nose was still stuffy, so Daddy and I went alone. We got there before three and stayed until seven. We talked her to death. She looked very well to me. She likes the place she is staying in. It is very nice there. They have bingo games, movie nights and a lot of activities for the patients. My Aunt Charlotte's sister, Lorraine is there also. Actually, I ran into Aunt Charlotte and my cousin Lucy visiting with Lorraine. It was a surprise to see them. I got Dad to stop me at Ukrops to pick up some chicken to carry home. I knew Steve was probably hungry. Came home and stayed in the rest of the night.

I got a new movie today from Netflix. If you don't know what Netflix is, it a movie club that you rent movies from. I have been a member for a few years now. I love it. You go online a make a list of movies you would like to see. You can choose a membership where you recieve one, two or three movies. The cost per month depends on how many movies you get. Now when you get the movie, it comes with a prepaid envelope to send it back. Once they receive the movie back, they send the next movie you have on your list. You can keep the movie one day or one year if you like. A lot of times, when there is a movie at the theatre and I know I will not get to see it, I put it on my list. It saves it on your list and when the DVD is available and is sent to you. With the video stores, it is hard to get new releases, but not with Netflix. Now that I have become the unofficial spokesman for Netflix,let me get back to the movie. It was Lakeview Terrace with Samuel L. Jackson. It was really good. He is always believable in his parts.
