It's Saurday

Woke up early today. Today is the Southern Women's Shoe at the fairgrounds. Marci got here about nine ten and we left and picked up my sister in law Pat. Got almost to Parham road and had to go back home to get my ATM card. Then I headed to Babysis house to pick her up. We got there before the show opened at ten. We got plenty of free samples. Sampled plenty of food. There was plenty to buy. I bought a nite light with warming dish for potpourri and some dips. My partners brought a lot of stuff from sheets, hat, jewelry, butter, cheese, jacket and other things I can't remember. We saw my cousins Lisa and Nicole and their mom Mary there. We saw them last year also.

We finally left around 2:30 and then went to Ruby Tuesdays in Mechanicsville to eat. Marci's birthday is tomorrow. I told our waitress and she brought a sundae for Marci. We sung happy birthday to her and split the sundae between the four of us. We headed home after that. I got home about four. Sat down and rested for a bit. Got my replacement phone I the mail today. I was lost without a phone. Around five Steve and I left to go see Freda. Daddy went to Montpelier to a fundraising event at Bethany's old school.

Freda was sitting on the patio at the rehab center with Banysis and her roommate. She looked good. We sat out there talking until 7:30. We then went by Dad's but he wasn't home yet. We went to Arby's to eat eat. I wasn't very hungry so I just got some cheese sticks. They were very good but you only get three for $2.89. That is almost a dollar a stick. That is highway robbery. Uncle Doc and Aunt Mary was there, so we sat at a booth across from them. We talked for awhile after dinner and then we left to go home. We rode by Dad's to see if he got home yet and he wasn't. We went home. I played Scrabble on my Ipod and sort of watched TV. Dad finally got home about 9:45. He had been visiting with Harold "Tea Baby" Gordon. Viola Coleman, she was my mom's best friend, rode with him to the Fundraiser. Harold is her deceased sister's husband so they stopped to visit with him for a while so that is why he was so late getting home. After the news, I went to bed.
