Steve and I are going to be Grandparents!!!

Lynette and Daynon popped the news to us on Easter Sunday, but we were all sworn to secrecy until she was further along. The baby is due 10/31/09. Technically Jason says he is our first grand child but now we are going to have a Smith grand child. We already prayed for the baby's health, but a few more prayers won't hurt.

Whew, I feel better now...that was a hard secret to keep!! I'm going to be a Grandma ya'll.



Regarding my day:
Started checking out Yard Sales today around 8am. Found a $50.00 ice cream maker that looked like new for $3.00. Brought an old dresser that I am going to refinish for $35.00 but was worth a whole lot more. Then came home and cleaned house until 11:30. Went to the Post Office, Wal-mart to get a card and then home. Relaxed for a little bit and then went to Anncarol Johnson's welcome home party. Anncarol and I have known each other since first grade. She was in the Reserves and was sent to IRAQ for a year. The party was a the hotel on Parham and Brook Road. The food was good and she was suprised. Left there and went by Dad's. Stevie called and said he and all their friends and Daynon and Lynette were going bowling and told us to come on over. So we went home, changed clothes and went to AMF in Mechanicsville. We had a great time hanging with the young folkes. My second game my score was 145. I beat all the young bucks. Keith almost beat with a score of 143. It is almost eleven now, so I am going to get ready for bed. Have two services to sing at tomorrow.
