5th Sunday

Today was 5th Sunday, so that meant we only have one church service today at ten. I woke up about 7am and pressed Jason and my clothes for church. I woke Jason up around 8 and he took his bath. He was too tired to take it last night. I fixed him something to eat and we got dressed. He had to usher and I had to sing and we both had to be at church at 9:30. The ushers rotate their post every Sunday so Jason was excited about his post today. It was at middle aisle at the front door. The duties for that post is to keep people from coming down the middle aisle once church service begins. He loved his job. I watched him from the choir loft passing out fans to people and then he passed the plate for collection.

We had a good crowd at church today. It was also Health care Ministry Day, so there was a spoke person who gave the mission of the ministry and expressed the importance of taking care of our bodies and the warning signs of a stroke which can happen at any age. The first three hours are critical for a patient to be seen by a Dr to keep permanent damage from happening.

Oh yeah, we I walked into the choir loft, I was surprised to see Dee (cousin Timmy's wife) in the
audience. She had come to hear my choir sing. After church, she followed Jason and I to Wal-Mart. I picked up a few things to cook today. Jason wanted string beans, corn pudding and Hamburgers. We walked around the store and then we headed home and so did Dee.

I came home and put the string beans on the stove and made the corn pudding. Jason was watching Harry Potter and I was at the computer. I actually feel asleep at the desk. Jason woke me up and I went in the kitchen and made the hamburgers on the George Foreman grill. We ate dinner and after I washed dishes and cleaned the kitchen, we all went in the den and chilled out dozing in and out and watching TV.

That is pretty much what we did all day. Watch TV. We did eat dinner and then Jason wanted me to make the Brownies and I did. His Grandmother came about 7:15. Her and I sat in the living room and talked about thirty minutes and then her and Jason left. We rode to Daddy's after they left and I turned on the lights in his house (He went to DC for Rev. Owen's Installation) and left him a brownie so he would have a snack when he got home. We came right back home and sat out on the patio until about 9:45.

Daddy got back about 10:30. He had a nice time. He said Rev. Owens has a big church in DC. He said the food wasn't all that great. Rev. Owens loves to eat so I know he is going to miss that good food he used to get in Montpelier.

I watched some of a older Saturday Night Live with Alec Baldwin as host. We looked at one with Justin Timberlake as host earlier today. That boy is funny. Going to bed now...I am tired...Later.
