I got up and made my bed and the door bell rang. I was wondering who on earth that was this early in the morning. I looked out the window and I saw a FEDEX driver walking away. I went to the front door and box was on the front stoop. It was from FTD so I knew it was flowers. I have never had flowers delivered to me before so I was excited. They were from Marcia for Mother's Day. Aren't they beautiful? I love tulips, they should open up in a day or two and really be pretty then. I called her to thank her for the flowers. It was really appreciated.
Daynon called because he was coming out this way to pick up his clothes at the cleaners tomorrow and asked about meeting for lunch. Steve and I went to...guess where? The Post Office and then to the bank. We went to the $5.00 and Under store to find an adapter for Jason's old Ipod that Freda is using. The battery had gone down. I loaded it with Gospel music so she could take it with her to dialysis and listen to it. She needed an adapter so she could charge it with the electrical outlet. We then stopped at Dad's, he was cutting grass and said he didn't need any help, so we left and went to visit Freda. She was eating lunch. I plug the IPOD up for her to make sure it would charge and it did. We sat and talked for awhile, but I could see she was a little tired, so we left.
We came home and the sun was still shining, so I decided to finish up the touch ups on the dresser I painted. I sat outside for awhile because it felt so good. Steve was in the house taking a nap. I decided I was going to cut the grass. I went in the house to change my clothes and he had already gotten up and had changed his clothes to do the same. He did the trim and I rode the lawn tractor. We finished up around 5:30. I came inside and washed up and changed my clothes and then went to Little Caesars to pick up a pizza. We ate and watched the news.
I left home around 7:10 to go to choir rehearsal. We got a new CD of songs for the month of May and rehearsed one tonight. After I left rehearsal, I stopped at Daddy's for a hot minute and then came home. Steve was watching 30 Rock. I then watched Michael J. Fox's documentary. He is unbelievable. He does not let his Parkinson's Disease hold him back. Some people would just sit back and just let the disease take over their life. He is a fighter and has hope there will be a cure for his disease. I pray for him that he does see it.
Will catch the first fifteen minutes of the news and then I am going to hit the bed.
