It's catch up time and It's Marcia's birthday!

Keeping this blog up every day is crazy. So I might start skipping days and just catch you guys up.
Sunday-
Jason and I went to church. It was really damp and dreary but we had a good crowd at church. We eased on to Wal-Mart afterwards. I asked Jason what he wanted for dinner and he said meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green peas, so that is what we had for dinner. We didn't stay in the store long. I came home and cooked dinner and Jason and Steve was watching TV in the den. When I finally got a chance to sit down, I did my weekly unemployment report on line and Jason listened to his IPOD and watched TV. Soon dinner was ready and we ate and then changed to go over Daddy's. Twine was there. I had not seen him in months. He has been having car troubles and since his wife was in Georgia, he was driving her car around. Jason fell asleep and after Twine left, Dad, Steve and I watched TV. Jason's Grandmother called and said she was picking Jason up at 8:00 so we left Dad's about 7:45. She got there about 8:55. Jason and I was watching Extreme Home Makeover when she got there, so she waited until that went off and they went home. Steve and I watched Desperate Housewives together and then I hit the bedroom to look at Celebrity Apprentice on DVR. Steve is not into Celebrity Apprentice. I am so glad that Annie will be in the finals and I hope she wipes the floor with Joan Rivers. She is a grouchy old woman. I see why her and Melissa both don't have husbands. Who would want them. They were made for each other. They are both crazy!!! Went to bed after the show.

Monday-

Got up to go to exercise class. I tried to come up with an excuse to stay home, but could not come up with one, so I went on in. After class, I went to the Dollar General to get some dish detergent. Went out to the tool shed to check on my dresser to see how it looked after the paint dried. It looked good, not perfect, but good. I headed back to the house because it looked like it was going to rain. I watched the DR's and then Price is Right watched me. When I woke up the sun was shining outside. I got up and washed the dishes and Daddy pulled up. He wanted to check out my project. He thought it looked good. He didn't stay long, we were going to meet up later and go to Uncle Doc's. Steve and I went to the Post Office and when we got to the bank Daddy was inside, but he was gone when we left the drive thru. We thought he went to Wal-Mart but he was not there. We made a stop at the Fas-Mart and then went by the Greenhouse to kill time until Dad got home. He still wasn't there when we came back and did not answer his cell phone. He probably left it at home. Because the sun was still shining, I told Steve I was going back home to work on the finishing the dresser. I had to paint the base and spray paint the gold handles silver. I got all that done and then I went back in the house. Dad called and I told him how we lost track of him. He was at Lowe's. We were suppose to go up Uncle Doc's because I we are going to plant a garden there. We will probably go tomorrow now. I got on the computer working on some art work for a DVD cover and did some other paper work. Got Steve to go with me down to the shed and set the dresser up right so I could put the handles on the drawers. I put everything back together and found that there is some touch ups I have to do because of the color change. It looked like it was going to rain again, so I went up to the house and warmed up dinner. We ate dinner and then I fell asleep watching Wheel of Fortune. We watched some other stuff and then watched Deal or No Deal. Will catch up with Dancing with the Stars on DVR and then I am going to bed.

Talked to Daynon today, he said Lynette and my little grankid are doing fine. I told him Jason and I were looking at car seats and strollers in Wal-Mart yesterday. That stuff is expensive. All that money for stuff they won't use that long. I need to open up a baby consignment store. Hey, good idea. Might look into that.

Today is Marcia's birthday. Happy Birthday Marcia. The girl is getting old...LOL. Marcia is like a daughter to me. We really miss her and I know Jason does. She will be here soon in July. We can't wait to see her. The picture at the left is one she sent me from Germany. You still look good girl for an old woman....LOL.

  1. It was sooooo predictable that it was going to Joan against Annie. Annie has clearly been the best person all year long, honestly I really don't know what Joan has done to be in the final two. I think Jesse was much more instrumental in his team's wins but he just is toooooo layed back. If he would have really fought for himself and not been as laid back then he would have been in the finals. I hope Annie embarasses Joan. Melissa and Joan are joke.
