Yard Sale Day!!!!

I got up early this morning and got on the Internet to check my bank account and then Steve and I left to check out the yard sales. We love yard sales. When the kids were young, we did it every Saturday and then always went to McDonald's for breakfast. Today I got a cabinet to put in my utility room that only cost $8.00. We only went to a few this morning. We then went to McDonald's for breakfast, just like old times...LOL. Talked to Daynon while we were out. He wasn't up to much today. We went to the Post Office and stopped by Dad's for a few. Went to the bank and then home.

Steve cut grass. He just cut it once this week, but he thought it needed cutting again. I went out to the tool shed to finish painting the dresser I bought from the yard sale last Saturday. I painted the dresser part inside because of the pollen. I brought the drawers out to put a last coat on them and then moved them inside when I finished. I only have to put the dresser up on something to paint the base and then I will show you guys the before and after pictures. As soon as I got the last drawer painted and cleaned up my mess, it started raining before I got in the house. Once I got in, the sky opened up.

I talked to Dad about 2:15 and told him I wanted to go to see Aunt Beulah and Freda today. They are both at the same rehab unit. I then moved things around in my utility room to get the new cabinet in there. I wanted some extra space for things like paper plates and other misc things. By the time I finished in there, it was about 3:30 so I started getting ready because I told Dad we were going to leave about 4:30. Picked Dad up and stopped at KFC because I left my jacket there last night. They still had it.

Went in to see Aunt Beaulah first. We saw Freda and Babysis eating in the dining room. Aunt Beaulah looked good. I told her she looked to well not to be at home. We sat and talked with her about and hour or so and then went to see Freda. Babysis was about to leave. Freda looked so good today. She looked so well rested and full of energy. I thank God for all he has been doing for her and pray for continued strength. We stayed about an hour with her and told her we would see her when she gets back home on Tuesday...YEAH!

Talked to Stevie on the way home. He and Linda were heading to their friend Eric's house for a cookout. Daynon had told me earlier about the cookout. We decided to stop at Captain D's on the way home to get some fish and fries. We ate in. When we got to Dad's it was about 8. Steve went to sleep and Dad I watched Escape from Alcatraz. I watched it until nine and then Jason called said he was on the way to my house. He and his Grandmother got here about 9:30. Marci sat and talked for about fifteen minutes. Jason stayed so he could go to church with me tomorrow.

Steve watched the race. Jason watched TV in his room and I watched Harper's Island. Boy oh Boy! They should have left that money on the boat. Things have gone down hill since. I am glad the show has moved to Saturday night. To me Saturday is a bust when it comes to good TV programs. After the show, came in here to do my blog. Jason was very quiet in here and I thought he had gone to sleep but he was listening to music on his IPOD.

It is now 12:10. I am tired and Jason needs to go to sleep if he is going to get up in the morning. And I am tired of him looking over my shoulder while I type...isn't that right Jason? Jason has not comment....so good night.
