Saturday morning! Even if you don't work, something about Saturday morning just feels good. It is basically a day when you can sleep late if you want. No one usually have to get up for work. It is like a clean slate that you can write anything you want on it.
I laid in bed until 7:55 and then got up and got on the computer. Then I cleaned house. Dusted and mopped and all the chore type stuff you do. Steve went to the Post Office while I was still cleaning. I went outside to put stuff in the recycle bin. My neighbor Mike was sitting on his new deck he built. I complimented him on it. He did a good job and did it fast. He is very talented when it comes to building things. He and one of my other neighbors built our tool shed along with Steve, Daddy and oh yeah a little help from Daynon.
Daynon called, he said he was cleaning stuff out of one of his bedrooms and putting it in the attic. Trying to prepare for my little grand baby.
Steve and I left home about 1:30. Steve stopped at Valero and then we went to Dad's. He was in the house napping. We sat in the house and talked a while and then we went outside. It was nice in the shade. I watered some of Daddy's flowers he planted yesterday and he and Steve put new wiper blades on the Mustang. Daddy's neighbors across the street were setting up for a big shindig. They had a big tent up and we sat and watched all the comings and goings over there. Yeah we were being noisy. A guy came with big speakers for music and a caterer bought food. We were curious as to watch the celebration was all about. Anyway, we hung out there until 3:30 and then we went home. We both took naps. We started getting showered and changed around 5 because we were going Mrs. Coleman's house to deliver the DVD's I copied for her and Daddy had a graduation card for her granddaughter. We got to Dad's about 5:45 and left immediately for her house.
I text ed Stevie to check to see if he bought his new mower and he was at Sears at the time I text ed him. He is getting one of the motor less mowers like they used long time ago. They had to order it for him because there was none in stock. I guess this is his effort to go green...LOL.

We all talked and ate snacks and then the door bell rang and it was a guy that Mrs. Coleman met at the Dr's office the other day. He makes pies. He was from Hanover and none of us new him, but he knew a lot of people we knew. His name is Ricky Hieskell. Mrs. Coleman had bought some pies from him. He says he makes all kinds of pies. And let me tell you, his coconut pie will make you smack your Moma. The pie was off the chain. He was a big talker. We didn't leave there until after eight or so. We stopped at Arby's and got a roast beef sandwich because we had not eaten a meal since breakfast.
We got to Dad's and eat and Jason called said he would be there at nine, so we sat and watched TV. Then Jason called and said his Grandmother was not bringing him until ten because his Nana was watching a movie. They got to my house around 10:15. He had been to the James River today with his grandparents and had been white water rafting and kiaking. He said he had a ball. They did the raft thing twice. Glad I was not there, my nerves would have been shot. Jason had plenty to tell of his day. We watched a little TV together and then we went to be about 11:45.
