What a long day!

I started my morning around 7am. I decided to strip my bed and I washed the sheets, the mattress pad and the blanket. I watched some TV with Steve and checked out some things on the computer. After I did the washer/dryer dance, I made my bed up. I cleaned the bathroom and kitchen and swept the floors. By then it was about 10 so I pressed some clothes to wear to the Friends and Family Day at Bethany. That is my Dad's church. Steve and I got ready and Daddy showed up at 11 before we were ready, but we managed to leave about 11:15.

There wasn't many people there when we got there. They had sno-cone (which I got) and popcorn machines there. They also had a big bounce house for the kids. Aunt Janice, Janice's husband Uncle Allen, Aunt Yvonne, Henry (daddy's cousin) was the only close kin at the picnic. They had a big tent set up and there was a caterer there preparing the food. They began serving the food about twenty minutes after we got there. They had fried fish, hamburgers, hot dogs, string beans, Cole slaw, baked beans, tea and lemonade. I enjoyed everything I had. They had snack cakes for dessert. Talked to Jason and Babysis while I was there. Stevie called Steve.
Didn't hear from Daynon today. I know he and Lynette had a baby class today.

Aunt Janice and I sat and talked and Daddy and Steve played dominoes with Aunt Yvonne, Daddy's cousin Lucy Ellis and another lady I didn't know. After a while, I started playing. Especially after I found out you win prizes. I won three, Steve won three and Daddy won two. I think Aunt Janice won only one. But you can tell by the picture above, she got really tickeled when Daddy had to go to the bone yard and pull every dominioe and he still couldn't play. Double click on the picture and you can see she was almost in tears laughing. It was fun day. There were others playing Dominoes, Scrabble and other games. We stayed at he picnic until after three.
We headed to Aunt Shelia (daddy's oldest sister) and Uncle Hike's house. Uncle Hike was over at the shop, so we didn't see him. We sat and talked with Aunt Shelia for awhile and then left I believe around five. Dad dropped Steve and I off at home and we came in, changed our clothes and then went out and cut grass. Steve pushed the mover on the front yard and I rode the lawn tractor on the backyard. After I finished cutting the grass, I worked around the shrubberies and Steve washed the car. We washed up about 7:30 and went to the Post Office and then stopped at Dad's. He was on the patio. He had just finished his yard also. We sat outside until it was a little cool and then went in the house and stayed until about 9 after WipeOut went off.
Steve and I came home and watched "Worst Week" on DVR. If you have not seen this show, please empty your bladder before you watch. That show is the funniest show. It keeps you laughing. Anyway, after that, I watched "Harper's Island" on DVR. Gruesome as always. I have no idea who the killer is but I think the Step Mom is indispensable and will probably be gone before long.
I went in the bathroom to work on this hair of mine and used the flat iron on it so I could wrap it. I know it is a waste of time because as soon as I start sweating in that choir loft with those forty spot lights shining on us, I am going to start perspiring and the hair is going to draw up. Mark my words.
I am going to bed now. We had to switch Sundays with the kids, so I sing twice tomorrow. Enjoy church tomorrow. It's my Pastor's 13th Anniversary tomorrow. Time flies....night night.
