It was a lovely day
Went to my exercise class today. The weather was beautiful this morning. After class, I met Steve at Dad's. We had to get our tables and chairs. The rain kept us from getting them on yesterday. Daddy was still in the bed but got up when we got there. I cleaned up all the stuff in the tool shed and packed up everything and put the coolers and everything else back in place. Left Dad's about 10 and went home. It was so nice outside, I didn't want to go in so I worked around the azalea bush at the mail box and then the begonias around the plum tree. Went inside because I was getting a little hungry. Fixed me a bowl of Fiber One cereal and watched The Price is Right. Fell asleep during the noon news but woke up in time for The Young and The Restless. We left home around 1:15 and went to Uncle Doc's to till the garden. Corn is growing tall and the watermelon vines are spreading. Steve went out to the garden and got a shock, Uncle Doc's resident ground hog was out there and he scared Steve and Steve scared him. He took off for the woods. Steve tried to take a picture with his phone but it was too late. Daddy came up Uncle Doc's and watered his watermelon plant. Dee was there and we sat out under the trees and talked until about 4:30. It was so nice outside I could have sat there all day. Came home and checked the Internet out and then warmed up dinner. Steve and I showered and changed and then we went to my friend Betty's house around 7. I had not been to see her since she came home from the hospital. Took her a basket with fruit and nuts ....etc. She was glad to see us. We sat out on her deck and talked until about 9:30. Came home...got on the computer and now I am about to go to bed......See Ya.
