Today the world prepared to honor and remember Michael Jackson. When I woke up this morning I knew that whatever I did today, that I would stop at 1pm to watch with the rest of the world Michael Jackson's Home going service. I worked on refinishing the head board I bought at a yard sale, but stopped to take my shower, go to the PO&B and get to Dad's in time to watch the Memorial Service.
I know there are some that are tired of hearing about Michael but he touched so many people thru his music. And his career spanned so many years and generations. Michael had a lot of demons that were probably because of his childhood and it actually made me sad because he was raised by a dysfunctional father. Michael did strange things because of this and it made people think that certain accusations were a possibility. But no one knows the truth but the accuser, Michael and God. I pray the accusations were false. We can not judge because we have no proof. The more I listen to his songs in the last few days, Michael wrote songs from his heart. We sang the songs but never really listened to the words he was singing. There was a lot of pain and hurt in his songs. The Bible says that of all the things God expects of us, he wants us to love our fellow man, Michael loved all and he wanted the same love back. Michael your torment is over.
The Tributes were beautiful, the songs were inspiring and the his daughter touched my heart. Like his brother Marlon said, no one can torment him anymore, he now has peace.
The rest of my day....not important. Rest in peace Michael. Only God can judge you now.
