No more lazy days of summer for me.

I went to church today. Sang at 8 and 11. Picked Freda up and took her to the 8 am service. My cousin Dee was at the 11am service. Was surprised to see her there. Went to Wal-Mart after church and picked up a few things. Came home and made a sour cream pound cake for Lynette and Stevie. Stevie's birthday is Monday and Lynette's is Tuesday. I am going to cook out on the grill tomorrow for them. They are all coming over tomorrow after work. After work....aaaaaaaaaah. They sounds like music to my ears. For a while there, I was beginning to think no one wanted me. I am excited, nervous and a little sad. I was beginning to enjoy hanging out with Dad, Steve and the rest of the family who are retired. Retirement is the life. Can't wait til I am officially retired with some money to burn. That's when retirement is fun.

Went to Dad's after we ate dinner. Aunt Margo and Becky came by. We sat around talking until about nine and I came home and cleaned up the kitchen and watched "There goes the neighborhood and Big brother" . About to go to bed now. Didn't want to go to early. I would toss and turn thinking about my first day if I did. This way I am tired and hopefully will fall asleep fast.

Thanks for all your prayers during my search for a job. Prayers changes things, I am a believer of that .

Good night!
