What's up my loyal followers

Work has been going well. I am confused but catching on. Because one my co-workers was on vacation and my boss was out, they couldn't really train me the first week and the second week everyone was catching up. So they say they are going to start training me on tomorrow. Working in town is different. Got to get use to streets that only go one way and you can't make left turns any where. But I am getting around better now. Love that I have a shopping center I can go to at lunch time and have a big choice of things to eat at lunch if I want to go out. And my bank is on the next corner. When I worked in Mechancisville, most of my lunch was spent getting to and fro so things are definitely more convienent. I am learning people's names and they all seem to know mine. I hate clocking in and out. Have not done that in ten to fifteen years so that is definitely different. But on the other hand, OVERTIME!...LOL. Have not had that in years.

Since I have been working, I don't have the time to blog everyday. My computer takes to long to get the website and I am usually too tired to sit and wait or have things to do, but will update when I can.

Steve and I went to yard sales on Saturday. Went to Bubba's on Williamsburg Road. Went to Freda's because her scooter got stuck in the bathroom after she took the TV stand out and the leg was in front the door. I laughed and told her she was dangerours with that thing...LOL.

Went by Dad's and then went home and cleaned house. Have to do that Saturday thing again now that I am working. Went to Hawkes later that evening and got fish. Watched TV and came home.

Went to church alone. Can't seem to get Steve to go with me. When I was young going to church was a family affair. My parents, my husband, my kids, my grand parents, my aunts, uncles, cousins were all there so there was a connection every Sunday. Now a lot of my relatives have passed on and the rest don't go to church or go to church some where else. Now that Jason is home, I can count on him going with me. I really miss the old days.

Anyway, went to Wal-Mart to pick up a few things. Came home and cooked dinner. Read the Sunday paper. Left home about five and went to Dad's. Picked him up and we went to the airport to see Jason. His plane got in about six. Marcia had told me that she cried when Jason left. She was looking out the window looking at Jason's plane and the pilot's window opened and who was hanging out the window, Jason. That boy. He met a US Air Marshall because he was crying on the plane and he gave Jason a card and told him to call him when he get back to Richmond to let him know he got safely back. The boy was in the business section living it up. When the plane landed in DC, he had to wait for everyone to get off before he got off with the Stewardess and I could hear eveyone tell him by. The boy makes friends everywhere he goes. It was so good to see him. It has been over six weeks. His grandparents were there also and he went home with them. We came back to Dad's. Watched Big Brother and then went home. Made my coleslaw for tomorrow and put the pork in the slow cooker for the BBQ I am making. Went to bed.
