Hello my blog followers. You know what they say, there is more than one way to skin a cat, so I do my blog on Word and then copy it to the blog, that way I only have to deal with this slow computer for sign in only.

Well, You remember the contest that Virginia Paint Company had and my cousin Anthony was in the top five. Well he didn’t win but I thank you very much for all your votes for him. I entered the contest also but did not make it to the top five but I did win a $100.00 gift certificate. I got a letter and the certificate in the mail yesterday saying I won the first place in the secondary contest. I guess all they sell is paint but I will soon find out. Free is free and who doesn’t ever need paint for the inside and outside of your house.
My Aunt Mary had surgery on her foot this week. She had a bone removed. She didn’t tell any one until after the fact. I talked to her last night and she said it was a little painful. Please pray for her fast recovery.
I heard on the news this morning that Philidelpia was closing all the libraries there. Fifty four of them in all. I don’t know what is next. The economy is out of control. I am so blessed to have a job. I am trying to get back at my part time job because I want to get out of the financial debt I am in because I do not ever want to be in the position I was in for ten months every again.
Today, Steve and I were heading to Ukrop’s across from Brook Road. We saw a hot air balloon and followed it. A lot of people were following it. It landed in the parking lot at St. Peter’s Baptist church. Those ballons are so amazing and graceful to see in the air. It was about two years ago when Daynon and Lynette took their ballon ride and Daynon popped the question. And now they have been married almost a year and a little Smith is on the way. Boy does time fly by.
Went to Dad’s and watched Tv with him for a little bit and then came home to watch the Young and the Restless. Caught some of Jay Leno’s show. Did any of you see the outfit Halle’ Barry had on? She looked like she had a cheer leaders out fit on. Well you know what they say, if you got it, flaunt it….LOL.
