A little late posting for January 24th

The Obama girls are definitely the talk of the town. They are definitely two cuties. All I heard about this morning on the news was about the fact that they will be growing up in the White House. I thought it was really nice that the Bush girls left them a note on how to handle the things they will be coping with as the President's daughters and that they should remember no matter what people say about Barack that he is still just Dad. They were talking about the all the secret passage ways that the girls can discover at their new home and how the White House staff was excited to have children there once again.

My Day:
The day started out really nice, but it got bitter cold near the end. We had a lazy morning around here. I worked on some more of my old tapes, transferring them to DVD's. It is nice looking back. There was so many people who I taped that have gone to glory now. There was mixed emotions watching the tapes, sad and happy. I am half way thru the 8mm tapes. After those I will move to the VHS tapes. I had started those once before, so I don't think I have many of those to do.

Talked to Daynon this morning, he said he was feeling better today. Talked to Stevie this evening, he said he might run by here tomorrow after work.

We went back to Best Buy today because Dad wanted to get a voice recorded he saw yesterday. Jason and I went in $5.00 AND BELOW which is next door. Didn't see too much I was interested in. They did have party supplies for $1.00. (cups, tablecloths...etc). We then went to the mall because Jason had a $40.00 gift card his godmother Tiffany gave him. We bought a sweatshirt and a long sleeve tee.

Dad wanted to go to Golden Corral afterwards so we went there to eat. Big mistake. I have lost all focus on my diet. I don't even want to post my weight on Monday, but I know I must. We came home for a nap and then went to WalMart to pick up a few groceries and then BabySis at Dad's to play dominoes. Steve and Dad tied because we stopped at ten.

Worked on some more of my tapes and then I rapped it up for tonight because I did not realize the time. I have to sing tomorrow at the 8 and 11 services, so I should have my butt in the bed now. The two services wear you out. I usually make groceries on Sundays but not on the Sundays I sing, 2nd and 4th Sunday. Picked up some ribs and got them in the fridge to throw in the oven in the morning. I will probably make my macaroni and cheese when I come home between services. Have not decided on the vegetables for tomorrow. I am tired of string beans and we just had collards. Probably will just open up some green peas. Whatever is easy that's for sure.
