The Economy is on every ones tongue these days.

First of all let me give you all an update on Jason. He was fine this morning. He was still hung over from the Benadryl but he was back to his old self again...one more time....Thank God. By the way, I must have been exhausted too because we over slept this morning. Steve called me and it was almost seven so Jason and I had to roll. And we had to stop at the store because after he broke out yesterday, we forgot to go to the store to get him a snack for lunch, so we had to stop at 7-11 this morning and get him a snack. He got to school on time but we were cutting it close. Once I dropped him off, I went to get my car inspected at Broad and Hungary Springs Road. Steve stopped by after he finished work. The car passed with no problem. I came home and got on the computer trying to down load some gospel music to Jason's old Ipod Nano. I talked to Dad today and I told him I was going to see Freda today and he said he would ride also. I wanted to let Freda borrow the Nano while she was in the hospital.

I got a call this morning from one of my former co-workers and friend, Tonia Wilson. The news was not good. She told me that she and the rest of the Sales Team at my old job, Dometic Corporation, were laid off along with my former partner in crime in Purchasing, Maryann. She had just told me yesterday that thirteen people in Production had been laid off. Then later on today, I got a text that they laid off the Switchboard Operartor, Thelma Reid. It was definitely a sad for that company. It was like a family atmosphere there, so it was hard for me when I had to leave, so I know how they feel. Even worse, I feel sorry for the people who are left. They have lost so many employees and friends and really don't know what their future holds. The economy had gotten rough out here and that is all you hear every one talk about and that is all the newspaper talks about and the news show on TV talk about. We need to pray for the economy of this country that things turn around soon.

Back to my day, we got dressed and then went on our daily runs, the post office and then the bank. Had to take some crackers back to Wal-Mart because the plastic bag was open when I opened the box. Went to Dad's and his neighbor Keith Lockwood was there with a problem with his bicycle tire. I went over Dad's neighbor house, Charlotte Melton, to deliver some Avon she ordered. When I got back, Daddy and Steve were ready to leave.

We visited with Freda for a couple of hours. She looked really good today. I gave her the Ipod and showed her how to use it. Babysis was there when we got there and we left her there. We left the rehab center and took Daddy home and then Steve and I went to Sonics. He wanted to try the bacon cheeseburger toaster. They have potato tots there that should be a crime. They were so good. I won't be going back there for a while. I stopped in at Sears to return a shirt and brought a neck tie for Jason for Easter to match his new suit.

We came home and Steve hit the den to catch up on his shows and I went in the bedroom and caught up on mine. I was sad and glad to see Dennis Rodman leave on Celebrity Apprentice. He really has a addiction to alcohol. He has always labeled himself as a loner and has social interaction problems. When Dennis played for Detroit and Chicago, "The Worm" was my favorite player. I loved Dennis. He was a bad boy but always had that good in him that he just didn't want people to see. He definitely needs some help and I hope someone reaches out to him and help him after they saw the show.

I then moved on to The Biggest Loser. I was sorry that Nicole got kicked off after she just got back on the show. I can not imagine how she gained five pounds. She will do good at home. She had already lost 85 pounds at home and looked good.

I decided to work on my Avon orders and respond to some emails regarding Avon products and here I am now writing in my blog. After this, the bed.

Don't forget tomorrow is April Fool's Day!!!
