Did you get fooled today? I had this great idea to get my husband Steve. As our kids will tell you, he loved to April fool you. So I devised the plan to set the time up one hour on the alarm clock and set the time for him to get up one hour later, to make him think he over slept. Well he got up when the clock went off and hit the snooze like he always does but never looked at the time. Now here is where things really went wrong, he cut the clock off instead. So I forgot to move my alarm up one hour so at 5:30 the clock went off but the clock said 6:30. Steve got up hit the snooze without looking at the time and got back in the bed. I said Steve, do you see what time it is, he thought it was 6:30 but actually it was 5:30. He gets up at 4:00 on Wednesdays. Needless to say, there was no April fool's shouted this morning. And then he got me later when we were at the bank. Oh well, I need to come up with a better plan for next year.
Today is Wednesday, so I went to my exercise class. I really love that class. It is nice when your instructor groans from the pain of the exercise. I have done exercises with people who are like machines. They will kill you with their workouts.
Our workouts are just enough to make you feel the burn without feeling like you don't ever want to come back again.
Left the class and delivered Avon, went to the cleaners, the ATM and then to Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart is my cool down exercise. I just walk all around the store checking to see if there are any bargains. I forgot this was the first day of the month. It was extemely full for so early in the morning. But the checkout was not bad. Daynon called while I was in the store.
Came home and worked on my bills. Checked with Peter to see if I could rob him to pay Paul. But the Lord will provide and has provided. Some people are such bad shape, they can't even rob Peter to pay Paul cuz Peter is broke....LOL.
Steve and I went to the bank, and then I took some books back to the library, went to the credit union to pay my car note and then we went to Dad's. He was outside and had been working on his Mustang. We sat out on the patio talking for awhile and then Steve said let's ride up Uncle Doc's. So we went and visited Uncle Doc and Aunt Mary. I guess we stayed there an hour or more. The men were outside and Mary and I were in the house talking.
We carried Daddy home after the visit and came home to cook dinner. Stevie called while I was cooking. He was at work. I made spaghetti with meat sauce for dinner. I cooked whole grain angel hair spaghetti. Now anyone who really knows me know that I do not like pasta. But guess what, the spaghetti was pretty good, so I ate some for dinner. Washed the dishes after dinner and then got on this slow computer.
Talked to Jason several times. He was a little upset he didn't go to choir rehearsal on Monday because of the allergy reaction but I told him I would talk to Minister Lee and see what they learned. I carried a bowl of spaghett to Daddy and then I went to Bible study. Talked with Minister Lee and he said they rehearse a song they rehearsed at the last rehearsal so Jason knows it, has the words and I down loaded the song on his IPOD. So he will be able to sing after all.
Our Bible study lesson today was on strength. We learned that if you let the devil steal your joy and you take your focus off God, then you lose your strength.
Came home after Bible study and watched that show "I get that all the time". It was OK. Then we caught the elimination round on American Idol and then Lost.
I am heading to bed now. Freda is having a procedure on her leg tomorrow, so guys keep her in your prayers.
