Well let's see.... what did I do today? I got up around 7:30 and did a few things in the house and then I woke Jason up to eat breakfast a little after eight. He had his first ushers meeting. Actually it was a workshop. It lasted until twelve. They had a table full of fruit, pastries and chicken biscuits. Jason had a plate full when I went to pick him up. He has to do the offering baskets. He is so excited. Because it is fifth Sunday we only have one service so I don't have to sing but once....yeah!!!!!
We went to the store to pick up a fee things for Sunday dinner. Stopped at Dad's for a few and then came home. For some reason I got sleepy and took a short nap while Steve and Jason were outside. Steve was cutting the grass. He let Jason drive the riding lawn mower around the yard and he had it wide open.
My friend Priscilla called and said she was coming by to pick up her Avon order. Her friend Juiny was with her. They stayed about an hour or more. We had planned to go out to eat but instead I fixed dinner at home. I didn't want to go back out because I wanted to fix my white potato pie. Daddy always talks about the pies that Grandma made from white potatoes. Steve and Jason could not guess what it was made of. Steve ate two slices so he must have liked it. I will see what Daddy says.
Stevie called. He was going over a friends house to watch basketball. Daddy called and gave me more bad news. Anna Johnson who is a member of his church and I believe was married to a cousin of Daddy's died. Daddy just went to see her in the hospital last week. He said she was talking and said she felt great. I believe she was 94 and she had a great life so it was her time.
We watched Nickelodian Kid's Choice award. The Rock was the host. All I can say is that man is built!!!!! After the show I got Jason in the
tub and then to bed. I pulled out our clothes for tommorrow and then I took me a long bubble bath. Now that I am all relaxed I am going to hit the hay........Smith out.
