Windy but warm

The day was really beautiful. A nice warm breeze was blowing when Jason and I went to church this morning. Since it was fifth Sunday, the Olive Branches had to Usher, which is Jason's usher board and my choir had to sing. On fifth Sunday, we only have one service. After the service, we had a brief meeting and the building council brought us up to date as to what is going on with our multi purporse buliding that is in progress. They said construction is running according to plan and that completion should be Dec.15th. In the next couple of weeks we were told flooring should be poured and we should start seeing steel go up. I am constantly adding new pictures on my blog and I have new ones I need to add showing a wall going up.

After church, I came home and cooked dinner. Jason wanted a snack and wanted to try a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. He use to eat them all the time but developed a lot of allergies, but he seems to have out grown a lot of them. So with the permission of his Mom, he ate one with just a smidge of peanut butter. I watched him all day and eureka, no reaction. Steve and Jason went out to enjoy the warm weather. I read half of the Sunday paper and cut out my coupons while my dinner cooked. We ate dinner and then we went over Dad's. Aunt Margo and her friend Becky Smith was there. They got to sample my white potatoe pie. Nobody could guess what it was. Daddy said it was tasty but needed a little more sugar and it was a little lumpy...LOL.

Jason's Grandmother Marcella came over Dad's to pick him up. She had a new suit for Jason and he tried it on but the coat was a little small. After they left, we watched Extreme Home Makeover. They had a two hour show tonight so we came home and watched the second half. By the way, that warm wind turned cold and breezy by late this evening. I did my usually Sunday routine of filing my unemployment claim. After working on that and checking on some web sites, I went to bed.
