Have you ever started something you wish you hadn't started?

Ok this is what happened. We bought paint to paint the tool shed. I figured I would use the tool shed as my practice for painting the house and see if I like the color. Well we painted on Tuesday and when the paint dried it looked lighter in some areas than others. So I decided when I got home from exercise class I would put on another coat. Well it still does not look like I want it to look. The tool shed was built with cement board and we don't know if the material is just not absorbing the paint or is absorbing the paint and not uni formally. I don't know what the deal is. The color was a lighter color before if it did that you didn't notice it I guess. Anyway, I am going to let it be for now. We have to move all the stuff from around the back of the tool shed and paint that next week, so if the front still looks bad, I will try one more coat. I even tried it with a regular roller because I thought the paint stick was doing it.

Anyway, cleaned up all our mess and got ourselves cleaned up and went to pickup our new mattress. Went to the PO and Bank first. We had to take the old set back to Room Store for credit. Picked up the mattress and came home and put the sheets/comforter on it. Will do a test run on it tonight and see if I am not aching like I have been from the lumpy mattress.

Talked to my friend Betty today. She is healing good from her knee surgery. Her sister had a stroke right before Betty went to the hospital. She is coming along slowly but surely. While Betty was in the hospital, her brother had an accident and broke some bones and he was in the hospital in Chesapeake. So Betty's Mom had three kids in the hospital at the same time. You know what they said "when it rains it pours". So keep the Reid/ Ivey family in your prayers.

We went over Dad's sat there for a while and then went to Uncle Doc's to water our crop. Dee was there and we sat out and talked until 5:30. Went to Little Caesar's and picked up a pizza and came home. I sat down, ate and fell asleep. Decided not to go to Bible study tonight. We rode over Dad's and watched House of Payne and Wipe Out and then came home. We got home right before the big gusher. It seems every time we water the crop it rains. Oh well. I worked on the bills checking to see who needs to be paid and organized my coupons. Played Scrabble on my IPOD and then went to bed.
