Today was a good day.

Got up early this morning. Got on the Internet looking for jobs but my computer moved sooooooo slow, I accomplished nothing. So I finished cataloging my DVD's this morning and then straightened up around the house and went outside when Steve got home. I went out to the tool shed and lightly sanded my project and put another coat of poly on it. I then straightened up in the tool shed. As I told you the other night, my husband brings a lot of junk home, so I straightened some of the things in the tool shed and moved them from the floor to a wire shelf he has in there and thru a lot of stuff away. Like old paint brushes and rollers that aren't worth using. By then it was around 11:30 so we went in and showered and went to the Post Office and then to Dad's. Steve and Dad worked on a lawn mower of Stevie's that wasn't working and I went in the house to watch The Young and the Restless. Went to the library after I called and found out that I left my jump drive there the last time I was there. I was glad to find it. It contained a lot of information on it that I did not want to have to redo including my resume'. Had been looking in the house and the car for it and deduced it must be at the library. I needed to print my resume' to put in the mail and my printer was out of ink so I went there to print it. But let me tell you this, I wish my computer moved half as fast as those at the library. They have lightning speed there. Makes me hate my computer even more. Anyway, I got on the computer while I was there and applied for some jobs and then went back to Dad's. Talked to Daynon on the way back, he was checking on me because he read my blog and I said I was depressed. But I told him I am cool now. Steve and Dad were still working on the mower when I got back. I called Stevie to see if he wanted the mower back and he told me he was at Busch Gardens with the managers from Starbucks.

We sat out on the patio until 3 and then a storm came in. Dad had choir rehearsal tonight so I figured he was ready to go in and take a nap anyway. The rain came down in sheets on the way home and then the sun came out. We watched TV until 5 and then we got something to eat. Watched some more TV and then I went to choir rehearsal at 7. There was a meeting before rehearsal that lead into a prolonged question and answer period and rehearsal did not start until after 8 and I did not get home until 9:40. Steve was on he patio and I sat out there until I saw lightning and I went in the house. We watched The Mentalist. Had not seen that show before, it was good. Watched the news and now I am informing you good people of my day. Hope your day was blessed...mine was.
