It was a very eventful day. Woke up around 6:45 and got on the computer because Steve was still sleep. Checked emails, jobs, bank account and Facebook. By the time I did all that, it was almost nine. Got up and made by bed and started straightend up around the house. Steve wanted to go to a yard sale the Good Samaritan Ministries were having at Ukrops on Staples Mill Road. So I changed my clothes and we went to the Post Office and then the yard sale. They had a lot of furniture and baby stuff out. They had a beautiful oak wood crib that looked like brand new. It was only forty dollars but I really had no where to put it. Daynon and Lynette have already picked out furniture for their home so I didn't but it. It was beautiful. I could have used it hear when the baby came. Anyway, we did buy some Reynolds Wrap. They had cases of that there. Rode around and checked out other yard sales but did not buy anything. Stopped at Uncle Doc's and checked out the watermelons. All the corn is gone. The dry weather have ruined half of my melons. My big one is still holding on. Came home and cleaned house. Steve was sitting out on the patio so I got me a bowl of watermelon and sat out with him. He was in a very depressing mood. I decided I was not going to join that pity party. Came in the house, vaccum, rolled my hair, ironed some clothes to put on, took a shower and got dressed. In the mean time, Steve came in and started getting dressed also. We got in the car and I told him we were going to the mall. I had no money to spend, but just felt we needed to get out the house and out of our usual rut. We walked around the mall. I window shopped. We sat in the food court and talked and watched the people go by. I got on the internet with free Wi Fi at VA Center and we looked at the pictures Marcia sent me from Germany of Jason. We ate some cinamon pretzels and then left the mall. Stopped at WAWA to get gas and went to Dad's. You know Satan tries to bring you down and sometimes you have to put your foot on his neck. I could see Steve was not in good mood, I think he worries about me not finding a job yet, but he keeps things inside and does not talk about it. But I was not about to let him lead me down that road. I know for a fact, that God is going to make a way. I don't know how, I don't know when but he will sustain us. Things maybe tight, but they could be worse. We have a roof over our heads, never miss a meal, gas for the car so things aren't the worst that they could be. So I thank God for that. Just keep us in your prayers that God will not just send me any job but a job that I will excel in and love.
Anyway, Steve was indeed in a better mood. We went by Dad's. He was taking his Saturday night bath...LOL. We sat on the patio until he came out. He said he had not eaten and Steve and I had been nibbling all day and had not really eaten a meal since early morning. Dad wanted a sub from Stuffy's so I went and got subs for all us. They came in the house and ate them. Babysis called as soon as we finished eating and wanted to know if we wanted to play dominoes. We said yes. We hadn't played in a long time. Juiny Boy came with her. We played until ten. We had a good time and needed the laughs. We came home and watched TV and I got my clothes and jewelry ready for church and then went to bed.
